Xavier, Lucien Groussot: Introduction to EU Law and to EU Human Rights Law

We are pleased to announce a presentation by Professor Xavier, Lucien Groussot of University of Lund :

Introduction to EU Law and to EU Human Rights Law

The first day of lecture will consist in the description of the EU insitutional systems, the fundamental principles of EU law and the legal remedies available before the European Court of Justice. I will start discussing the place of fundamental rights in the European Union.

The second day of lecture will focus on discussing the system of human rights protection in the EU, its relationship with the European Convention om Human Rights and the clash between EU fundamental rights and the economic freedoms in the case law of the European Court of Justice.
